UCG 2006 Challenge Grant Campaign!

United Christian Giving S.W. Florida has started a new project called the Annual UCG Challenge Grant Campaign. This ANNUAL campaign is an attempt to raise as much money as possible EVERY year so that the money can be offered as challenge grants to various local Christ-centered evangelistic organizations. This campaign will allow donors to DOUBLE their donation because each group that is offered a UCG challenge grant has to raise a like amount in order to obtain the challenge grant. These UCG challenge grants will also motivate the donor base of the various groups that we help. We hope to make the UCG Challenge Grant Campaign an ANNUAL event. In 2005, UCG raised $225,000 for this campaign and 100% of the money raised is going to OVER FORTY Southwest Florida Christ-centered evangelistic organizations. UCG is looking for SERIOUS Christians that will help make the Annual UCG Challenge Grant Campaign a HUGE financial success in order to financially help the wonderful, "in the trenches", para church organizations in our community. The goal for the UCG 2006 Challenge Grant Campaign is to raise $300,000 for over forty local Christ-centered organization.  We may or may not be successful in raising the full amount but UCG's READINESS is present, all God ever needs is our readiness to try, the RESULTS are up to GOD. Feel free to call ANY of the groups listed below that received a challenge grant and ASK THEM what the Annual UCG Challenge Grant Campaign MEANS TO THEM.

The dollar amount that UCG will be able to offer these groups will be directly related to how many SERIOUS Christians will step up to the plate to make this ANNUAL campaign a success. Will you?

UCG also offers college and vocational scholarships to clients of these various groups through the cooperation of and financial help of several other wonderful local foundations.

2 Corinthians 8:12 says "if your READINESS is present, it is acceptable to God according to what a man has not according to what he does not have." In other words, don't worry about what you cannot give rather just give what you can. Too many Christians WAIT to do this or that help with this or that after their "SHIP" comes in, some "ships" never come in. UCG has learned to simply use what we have AVAILABLE at the time and it is AMAZING at what God is accomplishing.
